Vacancy: Full Stack PHP Developer (Full-time, Heerlen)
Are you an all-round developer with strong knowledge of PHP and experience in both front-end as back-end development? Do you want to work in a dynamic environment where you can use your technical skills to develop both standard and customised solutions?
At Neoforce, you will work with modern technologies such as PHP (8), HTML, CSS, JavaScript, MariaDB and Git. On the one hand, you’ll be helping to completely revamp the website of Boss Machinery and Boss Vans. On the other hand, you are responsible for Neoforce’s website, core software system and associated applications. So you’ll not only be developing powerful back-end functionalities, but also ensuring that the user interfaces (front-end) are intuitive and perfectly usable. Through your work, you’ll make a direct contribution to developing flexible, powerful and visually striking solutions that perfectly meet the needs of our users and customers.
With your work, you contribute directly to developing flexible and powerful solutions that perfectly match the needs of our users.
About Neoforce & Boss Machinery
We develop business software that genuinely helps companies grow. From standard modules such as service management and asset management to bespoke solutions: we offer the full package and do everything in-house. We also work closely with Boss Machinery, a global player in the trade of heavy equipment and machinery.
From our cosy office in Heerlen, we work on innovation and flexibility every day, and we could really use your help with that!
Your Role
As a Full Stack PHP Developer, you will work on:
Front-end & UX Building user-friendly and responsive interfaces. You’ll play an active role in shaping the design and functionality of both the new Boss Machinery website and the Neoforce system for the end user.
Back-end Developing powerful features, workflows and APIs within our own PHP framework to ensure both platforms run smoothly.
Customised and standard solutions You switch effortlessly between the commercial requirements of an innovative e-commerce platform and the in-depth functionalities of our SaaS software.
Security & quality You’ll be working with a keen eye for security, code quality and performance.
You get a lot of freedom to organise your work your way and contribute your ideas.
What we are looking for
Full stack experience You have a strong knowledge of back-end development using PHP and (preferably) MariaDB, and you are proficient in front-end technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript).
Affinity with UX/UI You enjoy thinking about the user experience; an interface shouldn’t just work, it should also feel logical and intuitive.
Focus on quality and security You understand the importance of secure and maintainable code.
Language skills You are fluent in Dutch in word and writing and can manage well in English.
Affinity with Linux or Windows Server This is an advantage, but not a must.
A team player You really enjoy the variety of working on website updates and application management, and you enjoy working both independently and as part of a team.
What do we offer you?
Company laptop and mobile phone.
Salary and hours will be determined together (preferred: 40 hours per week).
The option to work from home (hybrid)
Lots of freedom: You decide how you work best and get plenty of room for your ideas.
Team spirit: We have a weekly lunch together and regularly organise fun team activities.
Room to grow: Whether you want to learn more about UX or delve deeper into complex PHP architecture, we invest in your development.
Great working environment: A cosy office in Heerlen with an informal and friendly atmosphere, at walking distance from the city centre. Includes a free parking space.
Note: For this position, we require a valid Certificate of Good Conduct (VOG).
