Releasenotes v24.03: Multiple senders, improved actions and much more!

Door 6 March 2024No Comments

Once again, we worked hard to improve various features, fix bugs and add or optimise new options.

As usual, these updates will be rolled out to all production environments on Wednesday evening. We are confident that these updates will significantly enrich your Neoforce experience!

What have we added?

  • From now on, you can also change the sender of e-mail actions. So you can send emails from various mailboxes.
  • In ticket e-mail templates, you can now add CC and BCC and specify the subject. You can use variables to do this.
  • It is now possible to perform several actions in a sequence. So you can change several actions in a preset order with one trigger or click!
  • It has become possible to use templates to also 'fill' the additional fields of a ticket.
  • Within tickets, you can now also access all teams from the 'teams sidebar'. This keeps you updated on what other teams are doing.
  • The 'asset' field type can now be used in a table field for both datasets and the additional fields.
  • Icons have been added to the ticket calendar for soon-to-expire tickets, allowing you to see at a glance which tickets require attention because they are (almost) expired.
  • Timeline items now show -in addition to the objectID- also the secondary title (if available).
  • The total price per product can now be hidden on the PDF invoice.
  • A number of fields are now -on a template basis- disableableable on tickets.
  • The field type 'photo' has been added to the additional fields.
  • Dataset schemas can now have up to 26 blocks/fields. So you can fit even more fields per tab!
  • The objectID of an asset is now updated throughout the system when a change occurs.
  • Functionalities for custom links and filter buttons are individually manageable in the sidebar per user (as administrator).
  • Standard custom links and filter buttons can now be managed individually in the sidebar.
  • Groups/teams now also show the number of members.
  • The top column on the projects page now also shows the customer's name and allows sorting by customer name.
  • The description of a wiki category is now also displayed in the index.
  • It is now possible to add a public description to wiki categories, and the display of categories on the portal has been improved.
  • Dataset fields can now be hidden or made visible with so-called 'switch' fields.
  • Notifications via actions can now be postponed to a later time. Note; you need to set this for each notification action.
  • Invoices now support additional fields.
  • There are more options regarding the layout for additional fields.
  • A new KPI has been added to datasets that indicates how many tickets are associated with objects within the current schedule.
  • When importing e-mail messages to tickets, the check is now milder; it is no longer necessary for the ticket number to be in a specific place in the subject.
  • You can now set your own account/person as the default ticket submitter. This is done via your personal settings.

Changes and solutions:

  • Inactive persons are no longer shown in the "relationship manager" field.
  • A fatal error when creating a new contact has been fixed.
  • Some dates were incorrectly displayed as '30-11-0001 00:00′, based on a date of 0000-00-00 00:00:00.
  • When watching a video, the video is now played only once instead of twice at the same time.
  • Projects now show tags in the table.
  • It is again possible to generate PDF documents smaller than 50 x 50 mm.
  • Additional (list) fields now show colour/pictogram (if any), which was not the case initially.

Security updates:

  • It was possible to inject XSS through the administrator portal in a number of places.
