With version 26.02, we give you more control over the set-up of Neoforce, from custom branding and additional fields at user level to smarter workflows within tickets and timesheets.
Discover below these improvements will speed up your daily work process.
What have we added?
- From now on, it is possible to open a (linked) trigger or action directly and you don't have to go back to the index first.
- It is possible to turn on team-level ‘Send via e-mail’ checkbox by default when writing a new timeline item.
- You can now also add additional fields at users (Manage > User management).
- We have added the option to filter by message type within the general timeline page. For type, think ‘email’, ‘comment’ and so on.
- You can now add your own favicon (icon in your browser's tab bar) that overrides the default Neoforce icon.
- You can now also use additional fields within time recording.
- Subtickets can now be detached from the ‘parent’ main ticket and continue as a ‘normal’ ticket from then on.
- For user convenience, you can now unfold all timeline messages at once by holding down the CTRL button while clicking on one of the [Unfold] buttons.
- Wiki articles within the customer portal can now be exported out of the box to a PDF file.
- The name of a dashboard can now be changed ‘inline’.
- In datasets, we added the optional widget that allows you to display all items within a schema, linked to the currently logged-in user/person.
- Pinned actions can now have an alias. So this allows you to make the name of the action different from the name in the button.
- It is now possible to use AI to generate the title of a ticket. This is of course optional and must be enabled by the administrator. We use the Request field as the data source.
What did we adjust or fix?
- Users‘ photos next to timeline posts could differ from the ’drop-down menu'.
- From now on, the ‘count’ of an objectID can contain a maximum of 9 characters.
- The Gantt chart (tickets) now also shows a scroll bar.
- Instead of immediately adding any new timeline posts, now only a notification that there is a new post appears. With this, the page no longer jumps without your choice.
- Through the sync settings of user management, you can now also choose whether or not to sync the photo from Microsoft Entra to Neoforce.
- Exporting audit reports did not always go well.
- Various minor(er) fixes to the user interface and experience.
