This month, we took another big step in the development of Neoforce! This release is all about ease of use, smart automation and AI integration. For instance, you can now add signatures to ticket forms, build tables visually in the Markdown editor and make use of three new AI functions for text enhancement, translations and email cleanup. In addition, you can manage custom variables within actions and we have further optimised the system for better performance. Of course, several improvements and minor bug fixes have also been made again to make Neoforce even faster and more stable.

As you are used to, the update will be pushed to all production environments on Wednesday night (8 October)!

What have we added?

• Ticket forms now support a signature field. This allows you to request a signature for approval, for example. The (hand) drawing is converted to an image and added to the ticket!
• We have added three AI integrations for text enhancement, translations and email cleaning. These are not enabled by default. To make use of these, you need to enable these options first via Manage > General settings > External tools.
• You can now (from Manage > Triggers & Actions) create and edit your own variables. This allows you to keep data in one central place without perhaps having to manage multiple actions individually. It is also possible to manage (add or modify) your own variables from within an action.
• The mail import (from tickets) now pulls in only the latest response instead of the entire e-mail.
• It is now easier to use tables in the Markdown editor; as you can visually 'drag and drop' them to the desired size.
• Additional fields now also have support for conditional formatting.
• From a file's properties, you can now see when the file was last viewed, and how many times it has been viewed.
• The customer portal has gained two pages for viewing the pending tickets to be approved as well as those already approved.
• Dataset widgets ('Last edited' and 'Last created') now show the object's photo, if set.
• A new API endpoint has been added for relationship retrieval.
• The "Estimated Cost" field has been added to tickets, found under the Cost tab.
• The general search page now supports searching for timeline items.
• A banner now shows when a trial environment is about to expire.
• We have added a button that allows practitioners to quickly view their own tickets.
• It is now possible to open .txt, .md, .json, .csv and .log files directly in Neoforce.
• The Generate PDF action now optionally supports the WYSIWYG editor.

What have we adapted on resolved?

• Overall, we put a lot of effort into performance. The entire application will now feel a lot faster in day-to-day use!
• The German translation of the app has expanded considerably.
• The 'Estimated time' field has been moved to the time tracking tab within tickets.
• Various other minor bug fixes (see changelog).
