Also in August 2025, we will bring another hefty set of new features, improvements and security updates to Neoforce.
Including bulk editing of logos, expanded form options, improved management functionalities and additional security controls, we make working with Neoforce even easier and more secure.
What have we added?
- Logos and photos can now be changed for multiple people, organisations or datasets (in bulk) at once. This saves time on major changes and ensures a consistent appearance.
- In users, a new tab History added, providing quick insight into changes and activities.
- Folders can now be provided with a description, so that the contents and purpose of the folder are immediately clear. This also works for folders created via an action.
- In the contracts table view, additional columns are now available for linked organisations and individuals, making relevant information immediately visible without extra clicks.
- The files table now shows the number of underlying files or folders, so you can see at a glance how extensive the content is.
- Forms have gained three new date fields: start date, end date and target date.
- It is now possible to export relationships in both application management and contracts.
- You can set default values for date fields in datasets, additional fields and form fields (see wiki article W0239), which speeds up completion and reduces errors.
- Subticket templates now also show which ticket templates are linked to them, so the structure and consistency are immediately clear.
- A new ticket import setting has been added, where a sender is only added as a new person if the domain is already known. This prevents unwanted or duplicate records.
- Added support for synchronising extension attributes from Microsoft Entra ID to person records, for more complete and up-to-date profile data.
- New authorisation option: Facilities > Viewing files. This is required to see images of facilities when authorisation control is enabled.
- It is now possible to upload images for external links (buttons) on the portal homepage, making them more visually appealing and recognisable.
What did we adjust or fix?
- When an item is locked, is now clearly displayed who edited the item at that time. This replaces previous anonymous reporting and makes cooperation more transparent.
- When using the search page, the selected page position is now maintained during the search, so you do not need to navigate back to the desired page unnecessarily.
- Fields delayed start and duration in ticket templates are now correctly applied to start and end dates when manually applying a template.
- In some cases, it was no longer possible to switch back to one's team in the buckets view; this issue has been fixed.
- Empty wiki categories were incorrectly displayed on the portal in certain situations. These are now correctly hidden.
- The text size of the notifications widget is now aligned with that of other widgets, for consistent display.
- Editing an imported e-mail in the timeline is possible again, after it was previously blocked by an error.
As you are used to, we are pushing this update to all production environments on Wednesday night.
