Week 44's release brings with it some new but also changed things. Below is a summarised overview of all the updates we are pushing this time.
What have we added?
- Milestones (tickets) have been extended with more functionalities. We already changed things here in the previous release, but now it has also become possible to provide a milestone with more information such as a name and/or version number, the publication date, notes and more. From now on, you can also easily see which tickets are all linked to the milestone in question! The next step is to make it possible to publish milestones (using a roadmap) on the portal. This will make it easier to keep your customers informed of your future plans. We ourselves are also going to use this functionality. So you will soon see the option first on the support portal!
- Milestones can be linked to projects. This is the first step towards being able to use Neo4Z for project management. You can now create projects as list values from 'Manage > Look-up lists'.
- With tickets, it is possible to view literally all tickets. So these are the tickets of all teams that exist. Of course, you may only see the tickets to which you have some rights. Filters, etc. remain in place. Also, you cannot open confidential tickets if you are not a team member of the respective team.
- For customers who have BETA features enabled, it is now possible to be able to save ticket filters. This allows you to create 'shareable' filters.
- An invoice can now be generated (as a PDF) in a language other than your own system language.
- Invoices now also have MarkDown-based formatting. Among other things, this will be used for headers and footers.
- You can now add photos to people and if a person has a photo, it will be shown immediately with his/her ticket.
- Forms now also show the name of the variable, so you can easily copy it.
- If a customer has a postal address, it will now be used (instead of the visiting address) on an invoice.
- You can now choose (via 'My account') which type of notifications you also want to be notified via e-mail.
- It is possible to authorise or not authorise users to modify public dashboards.
- Within the documents tab, you can now also switch to an 'album view', which shows thumbnails of all images linked to the relevant object. The choice made is saved in your personal settings and will be chosen again next time.
- For datasets, you can choose a dedicated images tab. This shows the directly the album view of the attachments.
- If you change a person, you will be asked if you want to immediately update the person information in open tickets with the new informate.
- For invoices, you can now specify whether or not you want to show the quantity column in the PDF.
- The link to the portal can now be hidden in the user menu (menu at the top right corner).
- You can now add hyperlinks to your own sidebar. You can do this via the same page as setting the order and whether or not to show menu items.
- You can now save mail templates and link them to ticket actions.
- List values can now be sorted alphabetically at the touch of a button.
- Items from a checklist (tickets) can now be sorted by drag&drop.
What have we changed?
- Several minor UI changes in management, the portal and the practitioner section.
- The colours of customers, suppliers and prospects (icons) at organisations.
- Different translations did not work.
- An error message came up while adding a new location.
- A private logo was automatically overwritten and discarded.
- Documents to datasets were not sortable.
- The portal's general settings showed a fatal error if the 'Wiki' module was not loaded.
- The supplier search field now shows more than 2 suppliers.
- List values were not displayed correctly if an error message preceded it (e.g. when a mandatory field was not filled in).
